Woww, what a coincidence!! My female employer just told me this afternoon that I have to make the menu for the week every Monday and then I was thinking of making the menu every Saturday night or Sunday, so it will be ready when I go for work on Monday and I was also thinking of looking for recipes on the net, especially now that my lappy is already working. And then, just a while ago, I stumbled upon myrecipes.com and it's so cool coz there's a lot of recipes there from main dishes to appetizer recipes and they also have recipes for kids. It's really a helpful site for me coz I need to prepare 2 food for dinner, one for us adults and one for the kids. Short, colored hair....

It feels so good to finally get what I want and that is cutting my hair real short,:) Yes, I finally made it to the filipino saloon this evening and I gota real short haircut and I also dyed my hair.:) Yes, I made a complete hair make-over as promised to myself : new place, new life and new look,hehehe. I'll make everything new here in sunny Spain for a change and I'll really make a change for my life for the better with God's grace and guidance.

ANTM Cycle 11

About 2 weeks before leaving Norway, I started watching America's Next Top Model Cycle 11 and I really liked it coz the participants are really with different personalities and styles. I already loved watching ANTM since my Denmark days and I've been watching the cycles that I missed before through the net for free at http://www.free-tv-video-online.info. You can watch it too for free and some other english movies and tv shows. Try the site coz it's really cool and everything there is for free,:)

i am free...

I am truly happy coz I am already free to use my lappy here in the boarding house whenever I want to. I was so scared to use the lappy before coz I'm scared that our landlady will get angry and it was so difficult for me too since we don't have an electric socket in our room and I have to charge lappy outside and it gets lowbat easily and I'm scared to charge it every now and then. So I asked Ate Becky, my dearest roommate to ask our landlady for permission to buy an extension for our room. She told her this afternoon and she agreed and she even said that our room has actually an electric socket behind the closet. So we looked for it and there it was behind the huge closet, we moved the closet to get enough space and we already started using it before leaving the room and we already bought an extension wire on our way back. Yohoo, I can now blog everyday and I on't have to go to the net every now and then to check my email and to blog. I can now save money and time, thanks God!!:)

I ask for a 30-minute extention here on the net coz I am not yet done with my assignments and I still have to send emails to family and friends.:) I have to make use of my free time in communicating with them all coz I can´no longer do it during working days. After going to the saloon, I will go home and make dinner for me and Ate Becky, my roommate. She´s always making food for the 2 of us, so I want to make something for us too now that I have a lot of time. I just hope, she´ll like what I am going to prepare. I don´t have an idea what to make for dinner though and the thought has been in my mind since the morning. Hmmm, what should I prepare??any idea??

Last week, my female employer told me that I can call my mother using the home phone that´s connected with skype since it´s cheaper and she even insisted that I call my mother with skype after telling her that I paid 6 euro for 30 minutes in calling my mother. So I tried calling mama on Monday and it was for 30 minutes too and I was so scared coz the cost of the call was 7.20 euro. I told my female employer about it yesterday and I was really scared if she´ll get mad, thanks God and she doesn´t care about it. She even told me that she´s going to make a research in the net on another way to call my mother in a cheap way. I was indeed so relieved that my female employer didn´t get mad, she´s indeed a very kind and considerate woman. And I truly thanks God for it.

worried...

I usually have pimples a week before my menstruation, but I am worried now coz I got a big pimple on my forehead 2 days ago and I already had my menstruation last week, huhu. It must be due to the stress that I am experiencing. And I am worried that it will progress to acne or something, (knock on wood)!! since I still have some time left here in the net, I am trying to surf different sites related to pimples and acne treatment and try to see if there´s something interesting. There´s a treatment that caught my attention and it´s Differin. I just don´t know if it´s effective, but atleast I alredy have an idea on what to do if the pimples get worse.

No work!!!

I don´t have to work today coz the children don´t have school and the father is just staying home, so they gave me a day-off. Yohoo, I am so glad ns I woke up so late today, 10am,hehehe and tried to enjoy the calm day and being alone since my roommate is working today.

I have to find the filipino saloon after my time here in the net coz I want to cut my hair real short and I just hope I am making the right decision,hehehe. I have to keep going and try to come back home before it´s too late coz I don´t wanna be walking in the street when it´s already very late. My pinay friends here always remind me to be very extra careful since there are also a lot of snatchers here in Spain, just like pinas. And there are also a lot of people on the streets during the night that look like drug addicts, so I have to be very careful. Maybe the a drug treatment centers here in Spain are also full, just like any other drug treatment centers all over the world.

The probation is over...

I stayed-in my employer's place for a week to observe their routine and it also serves as a probation time and I'm glad that it's already over. I went home here in the boarding house yesterday afternoon feeling happy coz my employers are so nice and the kids are truly adorable. They said to see me on Monday, so it means that they like me too and they want me to continue working for them. I am really hoping that they will like me coz i truly like them to be my employers and I also thought that they're for me too ,especially coz their kitchen is yellow,hehehe. Yes, all their kitchen cabinets are painted yellow. I will take some photos and share it with you next time. I promise to include some photos in my next entries to make it more lively. But for the mean time, please just bear with me.:)

I am already excited to start with my normal live-out work tomorrow and see how it will turn out. But for sure this week will be a busy day for me since I have to make a general cleaning in my employer's place. Though the house is not so dirty, but I still have to clean it the way I like it to be. They have a huge living room with a TV that serves as a home theater, but too bad and I can´t enjoy it this week coz of the hectic schedule. I have to clean the house thoroughly first before having a break time. Hopefully next week, I can have my much-awaited break time,:)

a hectic schedule....

As I´ve told you before, I started taking diet pills in Norway, but stopped it after a week because of the bad effects I am experiencing. I still have the pills with me here and planning to continue taking it here. But I don´t think I will continue as of now because of my hectic schedule. I don´t think I need diet pills to lose weight here. I think I will lose weight naturally since my new work schedule is very long. I will be working from 8am to 8pm on weekdays and from 8am to 2pm on Saturdays. Yesss, very long indeed, but I have to sacrifice and be patient to reap good rewards in the future. The sched is ok with me, as long as I have a time off during Sundays, so I can always go to Church.

Here I come sunshine!!

Time flies so fast and suddenly, here I am already in sunny Spain!! Si, I am already here in Barcelona, Spain and I arrived safely here yesterday at around 7pm. An entirely new place and a new chapter of my life. I will be starting a new life here in Spain. Everything is still so unstable as of now, but I am fine. It´s so challenging and I´m loving it! I´m sure I´ll be learning a lot of lessons in this new journey of mine and meeting new friends as well.

I am always thankful to God for all the blessings. As I´ve told my friends, I am not scared or worried because I know that wherever I go, my God will always be there for me to guide and bless me. All I have to do is be faithful to Him at all times. I so love my God.! God bless us all!

i stopped taking it!

About 2 weeks ago, I received the diet pills I bought from Thailand through a friend. She and her other friends had used it in losing weight and I've been wanting to try it after she told me about it. I already ordered it before, but the pills was returned coz the Norwegian customs didn't allow it since it's non-prescriptive pills. So I asked my cousin to hand-carry it since she stayed in Thailand for many days before coming here in Norway.

I was so excited taking the pills, but then I observed a lot of discomfort : I am experiencing headache, palpitation and some other weird feelings. It has to be taken for a month, but I stopped after 1 week coz I was so busy and stressed and the effects of the diet pills were not helpful to my system at all. Maybe, I'll take it later when everything is fine already and see of I can lose some weight. I noticed a decrease of my weight during my intake though, so it must be effective.

almost 3 weeks of isolation!

I am so thankful and I am finally back into the blogsphere. I was isolated for amost 3 weeks and I really felt so sad about it. We lost of internet connection last August 19 (Tuesday) and we only got it back on Thursday last week, but I was not able to blog right away because a lot of things has happened lately. Unwanted and unexpected things. I am so busy right now in doing things and I only have until Friday to complete them all. Instead of resting, I decided to deprive myself of the much-needed-nap and blog instead to make up for my longggggg absence.
