Sleepy and tiring days

I'm so glad that I'm able to blog in here once again.:) I have plenty of time to do blogging, but I don't have the energy to do it coz I've been so sleepy and tired the last 3 days. All I wanted to do is watch shows at YouTube and dozed off early during the night.:( I don't know why this is happening, but my employers are also feeling the same thing and they said that it might be because of the gloomy weather. And it's been gloomy since Monday. I just hope the will improve tomorrow until the weekend. I really don't like this kind of weather, it's sucking my energy out.:(

**Side note: Kindly check out ellipticals at Nordic Track.**

Doctors go mobile

Doctors going mobile is really good news to the medical community and thanks to the PDA medical software for making it possible. PDA which stands for Personal Digital Assistant, also known as smartphone and it's the in thing in the medical community today coz it's very helpful to doctors. Epocrates, Inc. is one of the companies making PDA medical software today and its software is now used by over 500,000 healthcare professionals. The Epocrates’ drug guide is loaded to the PDAs or smartphones of doctors and they can already make an immediate access to the information needed to make prescribing decisions such as drug dosing, side effects and health plan coverage.
If a physician is prescribing an antibiotic or a certain drug, but the patient is already taking another medication for his or her illness, then the physician can easily pull out his trusty mobile device to check for potentially harmful interactions between the two drugs before writing the prescription without leaving the exam room. Woww this is really cool and I just hope this medical software is already used by doctors in my dear Philippines.

Among the medical software made by Epocrates to help doctors are: medical Pocket PC software, medical Palm software and medical Windows Mobile software. Epocrates has just also recently launched a free drug reference for BlackBerry devices and they're also working with Apple to develop a downloadable drug guide for iPhone devices. Clinicians with an iPhone or iPod Touch can currently access Epocrates content by visiting m.epcorates.com on their Safari web browser.

Just visit www.epocrates.com for more informations about their medical software.

I have to sleep early

Yes, I'm suppose to sleep early tonight coz I'll be going to my "kuskos" tomorrow and I need to have a lot of energy coz it's a 4-hour job. But then, it's already 11:54pm here and I haven't pack my bag for tomorrow. I have to prepare the bag that I'm going to bring for the weekend coz right after my "kuskos", I'll go directly to Church to attend the CLS and the teaching. I'll try to pack my bag in a hurry so I can sleep a little bit early.:)

Have a nice weekend ahead friends!

I'm so glad coz I was able to exercise today and yesterday and I really feel good after sweating a lot. I combined walking, jogging and jumping rope as my exercise and I just hope I can continue this to finally get rid of my "bilbil",hehehe. You can read more about my "getting fit" struggles at my health blog, Strong and Healthy Living.

I also took a lot of tea today to aid the digestion. I just hope it helps and I'll try my very best not to forget drinking tea everyday.

Glad to be back!

Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing fine and sorry for my absence here lately. Though I have much time, but I don't have the energy to blog lately coz my personal problem is dragging me down. I've been keeping it for a long time now and after sharing it to 2 of my trusted online friends, I felt relieved. At least the burden is not so heavy anymore and thanks God coz it helped me gained back my energy to blog. I hope I can totally recover from it very soon.

I've been watching shows lately that will help me boost my self confidence and self-worth coz it has been so low coz of the problem at hand. I watched shows on how to take care of the the physical being, ANTM, lingerie fashion shows and many more, just to entertain myself and get some inspiration to move on.

I'll try my best to get over with it and I'll keep you posted.

It's really important to breath clean air nowadays, but with all the pollution going on, it's getting difficult to have clean air. You can now order air purifiers and air cleaners from Clean Air 4 Life at http://www.cleanair4life.com.

XP will be "off market" soon

That's what I read from Yahoo Tech. Microsoft XP will be off market after June 30, 2008. But the original schedule was of XP's off market mode was set on January 2008, but they just made an extension. XP's off market means that Microsoft will stop selling the OS and finding a computer with XP preinstalled will likely be very difficult, as well. To answers all your questions with regards to XP's off market mode, just click here and read the entire article at Yahoo Tech.

A new car

Ate Brenda, one of my Boholana friends here in Oslo who is married to a Norwegian, got their new car last week. She invited me to go with her family for an outing as a test drive for the car, but I was not able to go because my host family asked me to help them with their party last week. I just remember Ate Bren and their new car as I stumbled into auto insurance online. I will ask her this coming weekend about the insurance of their car. If they haven't purchased one yet, so I'll suggest that they consider buying it online to save time and effort. I'll keep you posted.

a new discovery

My employers are already away for work and I sneaked out here in my apartment for a while. I got a package from Biotiva this morning. It's the company that sells longevity supplements that I wrote about it one of my blogs,:)

And while I'm surfing here, I've decided to look for cheap mobile phones and I was redirected to eBay UK . So, I navigated the site and found a new discovery that I can actually shop at eBay UK ,hehehe. In the past months, been bidding for stuffs at eBay US and eBay Philippines, but the sellers won't just ship here in Norway. And then about 2 months ago, I tried buying diet pills from a UK based company and they shipped it here very fast. How stupid of me not to realized it before that I can actually shop at eBay UK without having problems with the shipping.

With this new discovery, I'm sure I'll be hooked with online shopping, hehehe. Hope it won't empty my Paypal account,:)

I've already visited places here in Europe and I'm so happy about it coz I never thought that my dream of travelling to places would become real. I thought, they'll forever be a dream for me. Now that I'm already here in Europe, I want to travel more and I want to visit America in the future. If God permits, then I'd prefer it to be next year,:)

Some of my friends are already in the US now and I've also meet a lot of Filipina friends in the net who are already residing in the US. And they've been inviting me to visit them. ;) How I wish, I can just go there easily. One of my boardmates during my college days is already in the US coz she's married to an American guy and they're living now in Manhattan and she's always inviting me to visit her family there. She's been telling me all the good things about Manhattan and New York in general as to really convince me,hehehe and the things to do in New York once I decide to come and visit. Of course, I am very willing to go, but I just can't for the moment, I have to be stable here first, before finally going for the American dream.

Appendix operation through the mouth

Woww, this is really an interesting news! The just caught my attention and pushed me to read the entire article. According to Yahoo News, American Surgeons performed an appendix operation through the mouth of the patient. No laceration at all in the stomach or belly area. The said operation is the first of its kind and it ensured the patient, who was acutely ill with appendicitis, of an invisible scar.

The patient, Mr. Scholtz, said that he recovered faster and that he was already eating pizza and doing sit-ups 3 days after the operation. And he was already discharged from hospital after 17 hours and went back to work a day later. It's indeed a very fast recovery!

According to the news, "Surgeons at the University of California San Diego Medical Centre threaded miniaturised instruments attached to long control wires down the throat of the former US marine. Once they had emptied his stomach of its contents they made a small incision in the lining to reach inside the body cavity. The inflamed appendix was cut away, bagged up, pulled back into the stomach and out of Mr Scholz's mouth".

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID)

I stumbled about this term last night as I was blog surfing and was redirected to the site that discusses more about it. But since I was already sleepy, so I was not able to concentrate with what I was reading. This morning, after my female employer told me that I'm already off from work coz she's just staying home, I went down here in my apartment and started reading about RFID once again. And the term is clearer to me now,:) RFID stands for Radio Frequency Identification and is an automatic identification method, relying on storing and remotely retrieving data using devices called RFID tags or RFID transponders.

Moreover, An RFID tag is an object that can be incorporated into a product, animal, or person for identification purposes using radiowaves. Some tags can be read from several meters away and beyond the line of sight of the reader.Woww this is really cool! I'm so glad that I stumbled into the term and I learned something new today. Thanks to the benefits of surfing and technology.:) Anyways, back to the topic, Most RFID tags contain 2 parts. One is an integrated circuit for storing and processing information, modulating and demodulating a (RF) signal, and other specialized functions. The second one is an antenna for receiving and transmitting the signal.

If you want to know more about RFID, you can always Google the term for more results or visit Elatec, a site that specializes in RFID , electronic components, cards and services and security solutions. Elatec develops RFID readers as modules, OEM boards, PC cards and as complete devices in housing. Elatec also supports all ISO standards for RFID technology such as: ISO 7816, ISO 14443, ISO 15693, ISO 18000, ISO 11784 and ISO 11785. To read more about the description about each ISO and all other informations about RFID, just visit http://www.elatecworld.com.

The future of Windows

I just read from Yahoo Tech about the future of Microsoft's Windows. Though there are rumors that Windows is collapsing, but it isn't true since Microsoft is in the verge of improving there Windows 7 and there's a rumor that Windows might go modular, which means that they'll be offering an operating system that consumers will buy in pieces, and possibly pay for on a month-to-month or year-to-year basis. Play some games

I'm happy today coz I stumbled into a site that specializes in different Online Games during my surfing this afternoon. I really need it coz I have to take a break from all my blogging and surfing too. I need to play too and not just work and work all the time. It will surely make me dull if I'll continue with the routine of just working the whole time.:(

I've already stumbled into several online game sites in the past, but I didn't enjoy my visit at all coz I can't play the games I like without downloading the games. And I don't like it coz it takes time to download and it will be consuming a lot of space in my computer. But Online-Games-Zone is different from them all coz I can play the games instantly without downloading them. I really like it. I just played Crash down about an hour ago as I'm taking my mini-break and I'm planning to take a look at the different Card Games during my next mini-break. I just want to familiarize all the online card games to get some idea coz I really don't know how to pay online card games, not even the famous Poker, huhuhu. Poor me! But for sure, few more visits at Online-Games-Zone and I won't be that innocent when it comes to different online games anymore. I'll also familiarize the Racing Games available in the site, so I can relate with my dear brother every time he talks about online racing games.

If you are also looking for some online entertainment, visit http://www.online-games-zone.com, play some games and have fun!

4. LG Voyager
5. LG Venus
6. HTC Touch and

I just saw the new iPhone mobile of one of my sisters in SFC yesterday during our fellowship and it was really cool and nice. I'll still prefer it from the mentioned models above,:) To read the entire review about the iPhone rivals, just click here.

I don't know if I already shared it to you here, but I took a detox pills about 2 months ago and it's also said to aid is losing weight. I was religiously taking it. Though I really felt that I was detoxified, but the weight is still the same.:( And yours truly is really desperate in losing some weight. Not that I'm super fat /my friends said that my weight is just fine), but I just want to get rid of my bulging tummy.

I am in constant pursuit of the best slimming pills in the market today. I already read a lot of reviews about different pills, but i'm already scared to try since the 1st one I took didn't really give me the expected result. I don't want to be disappointed once again. But I will keep on reading reviews about slimming pills in the hope of finding the right pills for me. I am currently reading a nuphedragen review and it sounds good. But I still have to gather more infos about it before finally deciding to try it or not.

The Grid

Hmmm, I just read a pretty interesting news at UK Yahoo News about The Grid. It's the brainchild of CERN, the European Organisation for Nuclear Research based in Geneva. And "Grid" is said to be the internet of the future and it would mean that dial-up and broadband will be an obsolete thing. The research on my o broaden this program to the general public is still on. Meanwhile, it's only exclusive to the scientists at CERN. To read more about it, just click here.

Dirmania Free Web Directory

I joined a certain forum months ago, but I became active just about 2 months. And I'm glad I joined and going active now coz I learned a lot of things about blogging there and now to improve your blog rankings. I've already heard about web directories before, but I didn't give much thought about it. I didn't even bother to know the exact meaning of it and its importance.

About 2 weeks ago, I stumbled into an article in the forum about how web directory submissions can improve blog or site rankings. And since then, I already started surfing more information about it. And after reading the article, I began searching for web directories where I can submit my blogs for free. I didn't even bother to submit any of my blogs to directories before, but it will change now since I will try to submit my blogs to web directories (as many as possible) in the hope of improving my rankings. I will definitely make this assignment and make an experiment if it will really boost my rankings.

Just this afternoon, I stumbled into dirmania web directory, one of the strongest free business web directory in the net today that provides quality free web directory advertising. Its business web directory is organized by categories, where blog or site owners can submit their blogs or sites for free and get listed in maximum 24 hours if the listing meets their requirements. Dirmania is also search engine friendly.

I will definitely submit my blogs at Dirmania and I hope that my blogs will meet the requirements, so they'll be listed into the directory. I'm hoping for the best. If you are also looking for free web directories, try Dirmania and get help in improving your blogs or sites' rankings.

Her new Nokia 6500

I chatted with my 1st cousin,Analyn, over YM this afternoon and she gladly told me about her now Nokia 6500 phone. I can't figure out how it looks, so I googled it to get the picture and I actually liked it,:) 2 Nokia 6500 models are available in Denmark. The classic (not sliding) and the sliding. Analyn got the sliding one. Anyways, Analyn is also working as an au pair in Denmark. When I was still working in Denmark, I also bought several phones that I acquired through abonnement or monthly basis for a maximum of 6 months. It was pretty easy coz phones in DK are really cheap compare here in Norway and the monthly basis here is up to 12 months, so I didn't bother to get an abonnement here. Sooo expensive!

Spring is finally here

The time has officially changed here in Norway last Sunday. The time was moved an hour advanced. And it means that it's officially spring already,:) I'm really so happy about it since I've been longing for the sun and I don't want to wear thick jackets anymore. I want to have a break from the cold weather,:)

And the days are getting longer and lighter in the past week. Though I'm happy about it, but there's only one thing that concerns me, the huge glass window in my apartment. When the sun shines, the heat goes in into my apartment and there's no shield at all to at least minimize the rays coming in coz there's no curtain or whatsoever. Maybe I'll try to ask my host family if they can by roller shades for my window. The other door is also entirely glass, but I can deal with it, as long as there's roller shades or blinds for the window.:)

Sell online with Ashop Commerce

Online selling continues to rocket in the world wide web and millions, if not billions, are already into it and still many are planning to go with the latest craze. Online selling is really good because it gives online shoppers the convenience of avoiding traffic and long hours touring the mall for good offer.

If you are also planning to join the successful online sellers, do your research first and make sure that you choose the right shopping cart software. One of the bests shopping cart software in the net today is the one offered by Ashop Commerce. It's very easy to use and there's a customer service available all the time for your queries. You can also customize the look of your store without restriction and most of all, it's affordable. If you want to know more about it, just visit http://www.ashop.com.au.

The thought of building an online store has already came to my mind months ago. Though the idea seems very interesting, but I need to have products to sell first before venturing into it. And that's the difficult thing because I don't have products to sell. I have another option though, selling the products of others in my store, but this idea has to be pondered upon over and over again before finally making a decision. After all, starting a business is not easy at all.

The largest mobile phone maker, Nokia, has just launched its N-Gage gaming service today (Thursday, April 3) in the hope of energizing the ailing market for mobile gaming. An electronics shop

My dear brother has always wanted an electronics shop as a business and he's been telling the family about it since his single days,:) And now that he's already married, he's still into that dream. He still wants to have an electronics shop and I think it's really a nice idea since there's no electronics shop yet in our village. And I am confident that he can handle it well because he has the passion in dealing with electronics things such as motorcycle, cars, components, etc. He just love to repair things and look at the composition of a certain thing. He's in Denmark now and I advised him that if he really want to start the business, then he better start researching now, so he will have a very good business plan. It's important that the shop is unique from all others. Maybe he can specialize in selling Obsolete Parts and make it as his trademark.

And just this morning, I stumbled into the Electronic Part Catalog of Now Components and I instantly remember my brother. It's really a great site that can be of help in his research about the business. I am going to tell him about it when we have the time to chat. I am waiting for him to be online. Now Components is an online shop that specializes in selling ICs, Obsolete Semiconductors, electronic components and more. It's really a nice site for my brother, so atleast he will have some idea on what parts to sell.

If you are looking for electronics parts, visit New Components at http://www.nowcomponents.com because they sure have what you are looking for.

Google's April fool's presentation

I really had a good laugh yesterday about Google's April fool's presentation. Good thing and I saw it in a certain site and read all the comments first before making an act, hehehe. So I was not fooled, but had a good laugh at it. Google has really made an effort in launching Project Virgle. It's a colaboration between Virgin founder Richard Branson and Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin and Virgle will be leading hundreds of users on one of the grandest adventures in human history, which is the first permanent human colony on Mars. Larry and Sergey even made a video to be more convincing, most thought though that the video is not convincing enough coz Larry was not able to hide his grinning, hehehe. There's even a site at the Virgle site where you can appy to be a Virgle pioneer and have the chance to go to Mars with Larry and Sergey. Nahhh, I might eat the bait, if I hadn't read the comments first coz I really love the idea of going to Mars, hehehe. Anyways, here's the video about the Virgle's launching, in case you havn't seen it yet:

Medicare is really important

My brother told me during our chat last week that his dear wifey is having a health trouble. She's spotting for weeks now and we are really worried about it since her family has a history of cyst. Her sisters have it and her older sister passed away recently coz of an ovarian cyst that has turned into cancer,:(

They already planned for the wifey to have a check-up and since Mama is going to the City this Friday, so the plan is for the wifey to go with Mama, so someone can be with her during the check-up. It's not fun to undergo check-up alone, I don't want to experience it too. I always want Mama to be with me,:) I just hope that there's nothing serious about it coz my sis-in-law has no medicare advantage at the moment since she has no health care insurance. I already told my bro to get one for her and he willingly agree,:) Mama will take care of the transaction, so they will be in the same company as her health care provider.

New visual search engine

I know this new visual search engine, Searchme, has been released mid-March, but I just can't help and blog about it coz I'm really impressed about its concept. I'll be more inspired to surf the net for sure using searchme coz I love visual aids. Everytime I surf, I love it when there are pictures showed as the first result coz it makes the surfing colorful,:) Ahhh, maybe it's the child in me that's behind my liking for this new visual search engine. Here's a video for more details about searchme :
