I was impressed with the audio racks
Last Saturday, my best who is also working here in Norway asked me to go with her to her extra job (she usually go there with our friend Ella) since Ella is not available. I gladly accompanied here there and we cleaned the place for about 2 hours. I did the dusting and she did the vacuuming and mapping. I observed that the father of the house is a musician coz there was a guitar and a lot memorabilias of different singers and albums hanging on the wall. And I think he's a Rolling Stone fanatic coz most of the memorabilias were of the Rolling Stone. As I cleaned in the sala, I was impressed with the audio racks they had coz it's hidden in a cool way. The audio racks were under the TV mount in the sala. I thought they were just ordinary closets, but I as opened them, I saw a lot of CD's and realized that they're audio racks after all. I found it cool coz it's hidden and it's not messy. I would love to have that kind of audio rack when I'll have my own place in the future.:)
The inet connection was cut-off
I'm supposed to blog here last night, but the internet connection was cut off after making posts in my other blogs. I tried to reconnect it many times, but I failed.
I checked the wireless router in the office of my employer and I found out that the plug of the wireless router was taken off, thus, the cut-off. And the plug for the camera charger was plugged in. For sure, my employer just plugged it off by mistake coz the plug for the unused heater is just beside the other plug. I guess, he or she (whoever did it) was just so tired coz they just arrived from their newly-bought cabin.
I'm glad and I have my connection back. I'm here in my host family's place. I'm putting some laundry in the washing machine, so I took my lappy here. Anyways, it's always nice to blog in here coz the connection is very strong compared to the "low" connection status in my apartment.

Excited for spring to come
I'm indeed very excited for the spring to finally come, so I can stop wearing the heavy jacket,:) All of us thought that spring is already here, until the snow came last week. What a false alarm, winter isn't over yet,:)
I hope that in 2 weeks time, spring will finally take over the winter season. And as spring will officially start, I'll already expect my host family to ask me a favor of cleaning the teak furniture set (table and chairs) before installing it in the veranda. I've done it last year and I also applied some teak oil too. Really hoping that spring will be so soon, can't wait!:)

I need more light
My apartment is getting darker now as 3 bulbs ran out about 1 month ago. I've been blogging with no enough lights and my eyes are starting to ache lately,:) I always forget to tell my employer about it, so he can buy new bulbs for me. I really need more indoor lighting, especially now that I'm in front of lappy most of the time. I can't go on blogging and maintaining my 5 blogs if my eyes will keep on hurting. I have to tell my employer about this problem here in my apartment as soon as possible. If not, me and my little business will suffer,:)
The alarm system is down
I'm talking about the alarm system in my employer's place. It's been down for about 2 or 3 months now. Every time I switched it on, it says "the main door battery is low" and I already told my male employer about it and he just ignored it. He taught me how to switched it on despite the "low battery" caution. I managed to make it work, but it takes time than the usual.
I think he's already annoyed about the "low battery! thing too coz he told me this morning that he's going to call the alarm system monitoring the house alarm so they can fix the problem and change the battery into a new one. Hayyyyy, finally it will be fixed soon and I won't be having any trouble switching the house alarm soon.

The snow is back
Ohhhh my the snow is back and we're really disappointed about it coz we thought that winter is finally over. It started snowing last Thursday until now and I end up shoveling the snow this afternoon.:( I just hope there will be no more snow tomorrow.
Balikbayan box
The balikbayan box that I'm going to send to my family back home is already here about 3 weeks ago, but I didn't assemble it yet. Maybe I'm going to do it this week so I can start filling it and determine how much more do I have to buy to make it full. I'm going to borrow a masking tape and a box cutter from my employer to aid me in assembling the huge box.
I'm going to send the box by August or October so it will arrive in Pinas in time for Christmas. I still have a lot of time to fill it in and I better start soon.:)

Magic stairs
I call the stair lifts at jamesonmedical.com magic stairs because they really help the disabled in going up and down the stairs like magic. It's really amazing. And the high tech stair lifts is really a great help to the disabled as well as to those who are taking care of them coz it won't be difficult for them in lifting the disabled up and down the stairs. If the disabled is a little bit heavy, then the caretaker will be in really big trouble. He or she'll be suffering from muscle strain for sure. To keep the dog or not?
That's the question my Mama is trying to answer and she's been thinking about it since the "biting incident". Before my brother left for Denmark, he brought a puppy to our home and it's already a dog now. And about 3 days ago, my Mama sent me an sms telling me that a couple who visited her at home and informed her that their child was bitten by our dog and that they're going to bring the kid to the hospital. So my mother gave them money for the hospitalization. Then the parents visited again yesterday and informed Mama that they have to bring back the kid to the hospital on Saturday and Monday. And that on Monday, the injection that will be given to the kid will cost 2,400 pesos and of course, it means that Mama has to provide the money. The drug treatment for the kid is really something that my Mama is not expecting and she's complaining about it.
I already told my brother about the situation and blamed him a little bit for bringing the puppy without thinking of injecting it with anti-rabies first. But anyways, nothing can be done to turn back the time. So now, Mother is confused whether to keep the dog or just give it to the people in our place who are into eating dog meat,:) For me, it's ok to keep the dog as long as they'll inject it with anti-rabies for safety purposes coz we have kids living at home. If not, then they better get rid of the poor dog,:(

Gold investment
I agree, having a piece of gold is really an investment. And that's what my Mama wants to emphasize to me. She wants me to buy gold jewelries for investment purposes. But I'm so hesitant coz I'm not really into jewelries, let alone gold. I do have jewelries, but they're all fashion jewelries, so I can't sell or pawn them when an emergency arises.

I'm here in my apartment, spending my weekend alone. This afternoon, I watched Wish Ko Lang episodes for the month of Fefruary and March. I'm not a Kapuso, but I love watching WKL and I always watch each episode at Telebisyon, but almost 2 months, I havn't watch WKL due to my hectic schedule. I'm glad I'm able to watch WKL once again.

I already saw the video several times and I was really disgusted. Bb. Pilipinas pageant was held in Araneta Coliseum last March 8. When I was still in Pinas, I used to watch it in the television. I've been reading a lot of comments and most,if not not all Filipinos were also disappointed, disgusted and annoyed with her answer.
And the most shocking part is that, contestant # 15 won the Bb. Pilipinas World crown. Ohhh my, I really can't believe it. What happened to the standard of judging? What happened to the judges? Were they drunk or out of their mind for letting the contestant win the title? How would she represent the country in the Miss World competition?
I'm sorry for my words, I'm just expressing what I feel. I'm not a fluent english speaker, not even good, but I can't help but comment on the way she speaks english, let alone in a competition. She could have answer the question in Filipino to make the explanation easier. And goodness, the annoying laugh! Ok, I better stop whining here. Just tell me your opinion after watching the video.

I already read about a lot of articles about yoga and it sounds like a good exercise and relaxation for me. I really want to try yoga, but the only problem I have is that, I don't know where should I go to avail of this great form of exercise and relaxation. Though I'm pretty sure that there are gyms here offering Yoga, but I'm hesitant coz I know that it's also a little bit expensive too. And right now, I'm really budgeting coz I have to pay a piece of land by the end of this month. So, I'm tightening my budget as of this very moment. It means that yoga has to wait,:)
Meanwhile, I'll just do some other exercises that won't cost me a dime.:) And I'll also try to surf the net about Yoga and read more about it. Maybe I can also find procedures on the net on how to do it and perhaps I can do it myself here in my apartment and no need for me to go to the gym and pay for a yoga class. Now, I'm excited with the thought. I really have to start surfing for yoga stuffs as soon as possible,:)

Madonna, honored at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

But as I read the comments after the news, a lot of people were disappointed by Madonna's induction at the RRHF. Have you heard about invisalign already? I just read about it a while ago and thanks to the world wide web. I found out that invisalign is the invisible way to straighten teeth, the alternative to traditional braces. This is really cool coz I've been wanting to have braces since then to straighten my upper teeth, but my mother can't afford me braces. When time came that I can already afford it, I can still have it coz I need to stay long in the country for the constant visitation to the dentist. One day, when I'll already settle in the Philippines, I'll surely visit the dentist and avail of a service that will straighten my teeth. But maybe that time, I'll go for invisalign, instead of the traditional braces. Though the cost invisalign is a little bit expensive compared to the traditional braces, but I think it's worth it coz it's invisible and maybe that time, the cost will already be affordable for my budget,:)

Seal cubs are in danger due to Global Warming

World Wide Fund (WWF)for Nature in Germany warns the public yesterday, March 10, the hundreds of newborn seal cubs which are in the risk dying of hunger and cold because global warming, since it's making ice in the Arctic Circle melt too fast. WWF said that "hundreds of the roughly 1,500 ringed seal cubs born this month and last month were in danger".
According to Cathrin Muenster of WWF, seal cubs spend the first weeks of their lives in burrows dug in the ice sheet but if that melts, they find themselves in the ocean before they have built up a fat layer that will enable them to survive. And when the ice melts too fast, the cubs end up in the ice water before they have their insulating fat layer, and they die painfully of hunger and cold.
And according to WWF, the seal cubs most at risk were those along the southwest coast of Finland, the Gulf of Finland and the Gulf of Riga, but warned that the layer of pack ice in the Gulf of Bothnia between Sweden and Finland is also thinner than usual.

Last year, banana-shaped pillow, perCushion, was just a concept from Urban Tool. The pillow is a bluetooth device that enables users to answer calls wirelessly and it's also covered in soft velvet with a foamy core inside that holds a microphone, loudspeaker.

My dream car
Luxurious cars are flooding the market today, but I don't fancy any of them at all. The car that's always present in my dreams eversince is the yellow beetle Volkswagen, the new model. That's my dream car. If all goes well financially, I really want to buy it someday. Call me crazy, but I'm really a yellow fanatic and I want to have a yellow car at that,:)And the possibility of driving my dream car will be through can loan. But I'm not in a hurry though. Buying a car in my case needs a lot of thinking and planning and checking different sites for Car Loans as well. But before anything else, I still have to learn how to drive,:)
New polariod template from Eblog Templates
Been blog hopping last night for a free template for my new blog and I stumbled into Eblog Templates. They have a lot of free blogger templates, as well as wordpress and templates for sale. I found a template that would fit the theme of my new blog and I also found this polariod template and I really liked it and thought that it would fit the theme of this blog.
I was supposed to sleep at 10pm, but due to the excitement over the new templates and the new tricks I learned in tweaking the HTML, I finally dozed off at 2am,:( But I really wondered coz I'm really full of energy this morning, though I only slept for 4 hours. I got problems in installing the new template coz I wanted to save my old sidebars. I followed eBlog Templates' guide on How to Install a Blogger XML Template, but I was not able to get it right.:( and finally, this afternoon, I made it atlast! There were just some extra codes I added to the HTML that weren't supoosed to be added.
Thank you very much Eblog Templates for your help, without your step by step instructions, I wouldn't be successful in installing my new template.:) I read a lot of articles in the site lastnight and all are really useful especially for those who are not that good in managing HTML, just like me,:) I already bookedmarked the site and try to consult their site everytime I have HTML problems,:)

Going out for the weekend
I'm still here in my apartment, watching movies, surfing and blogging at the same time. But I'm going out for the weekend to Ate Bren's place, but I'm not ready yet. I'm still here in front of lappy and not yet feeling the urge to get ready for the weekend.:(
One thing don't like much during weekends is the preparation coz I have to sort out the tings that I have to bring, clothes, accessories, my bathroom vanities and more. So, I need a big bag to cater them all and it's not so fun carrying a heavy bag and carry the same thing back. But I have to though!
